DRINKIT Coffee

DRINKIT Coffee

The lighting concept for DRINKIT Coffee was developed around the relationship between natural daylight and artificial light throughout the day.

Yuji linear lighting was used for both functional and decorative applications, including illuminated shelves, the bar working area, architectural coves, custom wall-mounted features, and a ceiling lightbox. The project combined high-CRI 3000K linear lighting with RGBWW systems capable of producing both high-quality white light and a broad range of colors.

A key part of the concept was the use of changing light scenes inspired by natural daylight and the colors of the sky. Different combinations of white and colored light were planned for morning, daytime, evening, and after-hours conditions, with Casambi-based controls used for dimming and scene management.

The project also considered daylight availability, task illumination at the bar, shelf lighting, signage brightness, and the balance between functional and decorative lighting throughout the space. The wall-mounted feature lighting used a five-channel RGBWW system integrated behind textured glass to create a soft, diffused color effect.

The result is a flexible hospitality environment where lighting can shift from clean, functional illumination to more expressive color-driven scenes while maintaining visual comfort and strong color quality.
