Tunable White Is Not Automatically Circadian Lighting

Changing from warm white to cool white does not by itself create a circadian lighting system. Circadian performance depends on the complete exposure:

Spectrum × Intensity × Timing × Spatial Distribution × Daylight × Controls

Two Tunable White systems with the same CCT range can have different spectral power distributions and different melanopic performance. For professional circadian projects, evaluate:

Daytime and Evening Light Need Different Strategies
