Custom Lighting for Film Production

This project involved the development of a specialized lighting solution for a major motion-picture production with very demanding visual and technical requirements.

Yuji developed a custom LED solution specifically to achieve the required on-camera effect while maintaining precise control over spectrum, chromaticity, and color rendering.

A key requirement was very high consistency. The lighting fixtures were used in large quantities and across a large-scale setup, so the output of each unit needed to remain closely matched in both visual appearance and measured performance.

The project placed particularly high demands on realism, repeatability, and production consistency, requiring careful spectral control and tight quality management throughout development and manufacturing.

The result is a purpose-built lighting solution engineered for a highly demanding cinema environment where even small differences in color or spectrum could affect the final visual result.
